A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies the result. Our servers do not retain a copy of those queries. If you contact us, we receive the content of that message and use it to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Hosting services create routine logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access. We review aggregated information to maintain the service and understand use. Cookies or comparable tools may enable basic analytics or advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the service, address technical problems, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Outside Services
Links lead to Nassau County and New York records portals, libraries, archives, and outside search services. Their policies govern any information submitted after leaving this service. The same is true of sponsored search results supplied by a third party.

Providers that host or support the service may process logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners can receive the automatic data described above. Disclosure occurs only when valid legal process requires it.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection and retains logs only for the purposes stated here. Because there are no accounts, the service does not store a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor may have sent information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Requests
You may have rights to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal information a service holds, depending on where you live. The research did not identify a New York consumer-privacy statute applicable to this limited reference service, so requests are handled directly.
